Quick Summary
| Topic | Short answer |
|---|---|
| Goal | A website that works for a broad range of visitors and devices |
| Approach | Good-faith effort, improved over time |
| Feedback | Welcome at any time, by email or through the Contact page |
What Does the Website Aim For?
The website follows common good practices where reasonably possible. These are goals, and some pages may work better than others.
| Area | What we aim for |
|---|---|
| Keyboard | Links and form fields can be reached and used without a mouse |
| Screen reader | Headings and lists that assistive tools can read in order |
| Alternative text | A short text description for meaningful images |
| Contrast | Text that is readable against its background, without relying on color alone |
| Text size | Content that can be enlarged with browser zoom without losing meaning |
| Links | Link text that describes where the link goes |
| Forms | Clearly labeled contact fields |
| Plain language | Short paragraphs and clear headings that are easy to scan |
Can You Use the Website With a Keyboard or Screen Reader?
The website is designed so you can move between links and form fields with the Tab key and activate them with Enter or Space. Headings and lists are used so a screen reader can move through each page in a logical order, and many headings are written as questions to help you jump to the part you need.
Browsers, screen readers and devices behave differently, so results can vary. If a link, button or field cannot be reached or a page is confusing with your tools, please report it.
What Limitations May Still Exist?
Some barriers may remain, including:
- content added before accessibility was reviewed;
- linked or embedded material from outside sources that we do not control;
- images, documents or features that have not yet been checked;
- differences between browsers, devices and assistive technologies.
Third-party websites linked from this site have their own accessibility practices.
How Can You Report an Accessibility Problem?
Write to support@applianceinspartanburg.com or use the Contact page, and include the words “accessibility feedback” in your message. You do not need to explain why you noticed the issue or share any personal circumstances.
The more specific the report, the easier it is to fix. Helpful details include:
| Detail | Example |
|---|---|
| Page name or web address | “The Contact page” |
| What you were trying to do | “Fill in the service request form” |
| What happened | “The message field could not be reached with the keyboard” |
| Your setup | Device, browser, operating system and any assistive tool |
| How to reply | Email or another way you prefer to be contacted |
Please do not include payment card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords. For how information you send is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
What Happens After You Send Feedback?
Feedback is read and considered. It may lead to a change to the page, a change to how content is written, or a follow-up question to make sure we understand the problem.
If part of the website is difficult for you to use, tell us how you would like to be contacted so we can respond in a way that works for you.
How Can You Adjust Your Browser for Easier Reading?
Many accessibility tools are built into your device or browser. You may find it helpful to:
- zoom in with your browser’s zoom controls;
- increase the default text size in browser settings;
- switch on a high-contrast, dark or reader mode;
- use your device’s built-in screen reader or voice control;
- use keyboard shortcuts to move between headings and links.
Will This Statement Change?
Yes. It may be revised as the website is updated and feedback is received. The “Last updated” line at the top shows the version date.
